Pleasant Home’s Frank Senn was selected as a notable top player of the week after helping lead his team 28-14 win over Geneva County last Friday night.

Senn rushed for 374 yards on 31 carries and scored three touchdowns to help lift his team over the Bulldogs, and berth in the Class 1A state playoffs.

Senn was among 33 other potential players of the week for the Alabama Sports Writer’s Association poll that was released today.

Senn, a senior will try and help lead his team to road victory over Cottage Hill this week to end the regular season.

The Eagles are 5-4 overall, and 4-3 in Class 1A, Region 2.
